Please read this entire article. It’s only 4 pages long and will enlighten you on why you are paying what you are for oil, gas, food, and anything else that is controlled by “futures” trading. It is apparently well known that this type of thing happens, and was even given the ability to happen by Congress, and they purposefully don’t do anything about it.
